Durable/Eco-friendly/Non self-adhesiveThe advantages of Multi-Color wood grain PVC decorative film focus on "industrial adaptability" and "long-term stability", which are significantly different from those of self-adhesive films:
1. Requires Professional Bonding Processes, No Manual Operation.
Unlike self-adhesive films that can be "peeled and pasted" directly, Multi-Color wood grain PVC decorative film must be bonded through two industrial-grade processes:
⚪Vacuum Forming Lamination: Applicable to substrates with shapes (e.g., embossed door panels, curved cabinet doors). First, apply hot-melt adhesive (usually PUR adhesive) to the substrate; then heat the film to soften it; finally, use negative pressure to make Multi-Color wood grain PVC decorative film tightly adhere to the concave-convex surface of the substrate, achieving a "full wrapping" effect. This is the only suitable process for shaped door panels.
⚪Flat Laminating: It Suits for flat substrates, such as MDF boards, particleboards. Use a hot press to bond Multi-Color wood grain PVC decorative film with the adhesive-coated substrate under high temperature (120-160℃) and high pressure. The finished surface is extremely flat, free of bubbles and orange peel texture.
2. Extremely High Bonding Strength, No Edge Warping Over Long-Term Use.
The high-temperature and high-pressure process enables Multi-Color wood grain PVC decorative film to "almost integrate with the substrate", resulting in bonding strength far exceeding that of the pressure-sensitive adhesive of self-adhesive films. Even in humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms, or during long-term use, issues like edge warping, delamination, and peeling will not occur, solving the pain point of "adhesive aging and failure" in self-adhesive films.
